A photographic collection and brief reference to help identify Wildflowers found in New York
Hairs on the stems are supposed to be one way to tell species apart. I couldn't make a good comparison though.
Found: Fields, thickets, a weedy area by my house
Height: 1 - 6 feet
July - Sept bloom time
Compound leaves with small leaflets interspersed between much larger leaflets
One of those "weeds" with burrs that cling to clothing and pets.
