I don't do trees but these were right in my face and I couldn't help but appreciate the flowers with the bees busy collecting the pollen.

Bees love the flowers and Basswood Honey is supposed to be a premier honey characterized by its distinctive biting flavor.

Found: Northern - Great Lakes - hardwood forest areas (my backyard)
Height: 65 feet average, can reach 100
June - July bloom time
