First year's growth is a basal rosette, second year growth has multiple branched stems tipped with flowers that produce long seed pods. A very prolific self seeder, a friend has them volunteering for garden duty for years now.

Found: Dry gravelly soil, clearings, disturbed areas
Height: 1 - 3 feet
May - Sept bloom time
