A photographic collection and brief reference to help identify Wildflowers found in New York
A prolific seeder and easily transplanted. I've seen clumps ripped up by ice flows and transported downstream where they take hold like nothing happened. In garden settings seedlings pop up all over the place. As long as the soil doesn't get bone dry they seem to thrive anywhere.
Found: Marshes, roadside ditches, shorelines, shallow water, wet places
Height: 2 - 4 feet
May - July bloom time
