Naturalized alien and an invasive weed, especially along roadsides in St. Lawrence County, NY

Caution should be taken around the plant - especially while it is in bloom. The sap when exposed to sunlight can/will cause a nasty skin irritation and raise blisters.

Odd Note: The tap root is edible
